The base for our two four-night-breaks in Alto Adige is the vigilius mountain resort, seven minutes cablecar above the village of Lana, and ten minutes away from Merano.
vigilius is an experience in itself and befits those guests who enjoy
fine, contemporary architecture at its best, one which defies imagination
for its pioneering structure. Conceived and designed by a team of architects
lead by Italian Matteo Thun, the vigilius is an act of love for life and
purity, ease and style. The ecological correctness of the construction
(all slatted larches and glass) perfectly reflects the primary ethos of
our philosophy: clarity, simplicity, independence from superimposed elements.
A finest example of organic architecture the vigilius dovetails with our
essential concept that when boundaries between man and Nature dissolve,
health naturally and effortlessly ensues. Here is where ‘obsolete patterns
of thoughts’ can easily be abandoned and be simply replaced by increased
self-awareness.
The walks are moderate and mainly in woodland, flavoured with the invigorating
scent of the larches. However, we will also explore nearby alpine lakes
and valleys.
Each day the individual afternoon therapy session is an opportunity for
everyone to focus on what has emerged during the morning walks. The day
ends with a pampering massage before a gourmet meal in one of the two
restaurants.
The rooms are spacious, extremely comfortable and elegant. A glorious
silence pervades the entire space and a beneficial interaction with Nature
is immediate and unavoidable.
The location is 1500 meters above everyday life and traffic noise. There
are no arrivals or departures by car. We encourage our guests to fly to
Innsbruck where our driver will meet them on the arrival date, preferably
in the morning. Lana is then two very pleasant hours drive away.

Price includes: transport from and to Verona airport
(Ryanair), or to Innsbruck airport (EasyJet) on the arrival and departure
dates, all the guided walks, three sessions of individual therapy or couple
counselling, three massages, accommodation for the four nights, four dinners
in the two restaurants of the vigilius (one restaurant offering creative
light cuisine, and one stube serving exquisite local South Tyrolean cuisine),
three pic-nic lunches, afternoon high tea, and drinks served in the beautiful
lounge or terrace, all the cablecar rides.
The price does not include flights to and from Verona or Innsbruck airports,
and wine.
Price for the second occupant includes: everything as for the first occupant but no therapy sessions unless it is couple counselling.

Dress code
For the walks: hiking boots and proper socks, rucksack and waterproof jacket and trousers are recommended.
For dinner: as you like it. Relaxed elegance is welcomed.
